Limitations
What the DOCX-to-XLSX Converter Does Not Preserve
The converter extracts text and table structure. Visual formatting and embedded objects are not included in the Excel output.
Text styling does not carry over
Bold, italic, underline, font sizes, colours, and merged cells are not preserved. The converter focuses on text content and structure, not visual formatting.
Images and embedded media are not included
Images, embedded media, charts, shapes, SmartArt, and diagrams are not converted.
Headers, footers, and page layout are removed
Page-level layout, headers, and footers do not carry into the Excel file. The output is a spreadsheet of extracted content.
Complex objects may need manual review
